If after performing this analysis we believe our firm can assist an individual or business owner with their insurance claim (and the client ultimately decides to retain our firm), we immediately notify the insurance company of our representation, retain qualified experts, if necessary, to establish coverage for your particular claim and gather the relevant information to promptly make a demand to the insurance company. If the insurance company refuses our reasonable demands, we initiate legal proceedings.
We generally handle insurance claims on a contingency fee basis and advance expenses throughout the term of our representation. Accordingly, the client does not owe our firm anything unless we recover proceeds from the insurance company. We understand that most people are unable to incur the expenses required to take on a large insurance company. It is our belief that this should not disqualify an otherwise legitimate claim.
